DHAKA: A schoolboy motorcyclist was killed and two other riders were injured in a road accident on Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover in city’s Jatrabari area on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Jacky Hossain (17), son of Siddique Akand of Saban Factory Lane of Dholairpar.

The injured are Zahid Hasan and Mohammad Sumon.

Zahid told banglanews that Jacky was riding the bike as they were moving around in the area at 5:15pm.

When they were riding down from the flyover Jacky could not control the speed of the bike and skidded off the road, leaving them injured critically.

Locals rushed to the spot and sent the victims to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared Jacky dead at 6:00pm.
