‘Ras Utsab’ out of hartal purview

MOULVIBAZAR: Jamaat-e-Islmai on Wednesday withdrew hartal in Kamalganj upazila of the district for Thursday for the traditional “Ras Utsab” of Manipuri ethnic community.

District Jamaat publicity secretary Yamir Ali confirmed the matter to banglanews.

“We have withdrawn the hartal in Kamalganj upazila for Thursday so that the Manipuri people can observe their ‘Ras Utsab’,” he added.
