DHAKA: Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque held an emergency meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday noon.

Competent sources from Prime Minister Office and Law Ministry confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier, the minister held a closed-door meeting with IG Prison Brigadier General Syed Iftekhar Uddin.

The Law Minister held the meetings when the speculation spread about possibility of hanging war crimes convict Kamaruzzaman on Wednesday.
