DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina met President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Wednesday evening.

According to the sources, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made a courtesy call on the President at 7:15pm.

The premier, also ruling Awami League president, might have briefed the President about her recent foreign visits, including of the United Arab Emirates, sources added.

The President is scheduled to visit China on Thursday. They may have discussed in this issue.

Besides, they might have talked over the trial of the wartime crimes and the recent developments in the country’s political scenario.
