JAIPURHAT: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) detained five Bangladeshis from Hatkhola border under Panchbibi upazila of the district early Tuesday.

Sources told banglanews that BSF nabbed them from Uchna bordering area under Indian Territory.

However, confirming the matter, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Hatkhola camp commander Nayek Subedar Joj Mia said that the Indian troops held the five Bangladeshis while patrolling in the area.

A letter to sit in a flag meeting was yet to be sent, he added.
