Brother of main accused held

DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained Mohammad Monayem, brother of main accused of India’s Burdwan blast, from Farajikanda of Narayanganj early Tuesday.

Media Wing Deputy Director of RAB Maksudul Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Regarding the matter, Rab-11 CEO Anwar Latif said, “Monayem has been detained for quizzing about his brother and whether he has any link to Burdwan blast.”
