KUSHTIA: Three minor boys drowned in an abandoned well in Barokhada village under Sadar upazila on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Shakil, 5, son of Majibor of the area, Liton, 5, and Tarun.

Quoting locals, district additional superintendent of police Abu Bakar Siddique told banglanews that the trio went missing since Tuesday morning. Father of one of the boys found them inside the well while watering the tobacco field at 5:00pm.

Later locals recovered the bodies and handed over to their families.
