RANGPUR: Two people were killed in a road accident on Dinajpur-Rangpur highway in Pagla Pir area of the district on Wednesday evening.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said a passenger bus of Ahsan Paribahan turned turtle on the highway as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving them two on the spot.

Local Highway Thana Sub-Inspector Shree Ganesh confirmed the matter to banglanews.
