CHITTAGONG: Members of Detective Branch (DB) of Police, in a raid on Thursday night, nabbed 96 people, including 62 men and 34 women on charge of anti-social activities from Hotel Agrabad in the port city.

Police also recovered several bottles of foreign-made alcoholic drinks.

Port city DB police additional deputy-commissioner Hasan Chowdhury confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said acting on a tip-off a team of DB police conducted an hour-long drive from 10:00pm in the day and nabbed 96 people as they were involved in anti-social activities.

Moreover, police also recovered several bottles of foreign-made wine and beer.

Hasan Chowdhury further said that the detainees were handed over to Double Mooring Thana of the port city.
