DHAKA: A group of muggers snatched Tk 10.20 lakh from a ‘bKash’ agent Faisal in city’s Jatrabari area at Sunday noon.
The muggers hit the victim’s head by a pistol before snatching the money.
Officer-in-Charge, Jatrabari Thana Prasenjit, confirmed the matter to banglanews.
He said that Faisal was coming to Jartabari after collecting money from the sub-agents of ‘bKash’, a subsidiary of BRAC Bank Limited.
After reaching in Sheikhpara area, he was intercepted by a group of miscreants and hit on his head by a pistol.
Later, locals admitted him to a clinic.
A case has been filed in this connection, the OC said.
