NAOGAON: Vice-president of Sadar upazila Swechhasebak League and his brother were chopped to death by miscreants in Durgapur area of the town early Monday.

The deceased were identified as Swechhasebak League leader Ohidur Rahman, 38 and his younger brother Shaheen Rahman, 34, hailed from Chakprachi village of the upazila.

Quoting local sources police said a gang of miscreants chopped Ohidur and his brother to death around 12:00am while they were returning home on foot.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.

Naogaon Sadar Model Thana Officer-in-Charge (investigation) Sameer Sutradhar told banglanews that they might have been killed over past feud.
