DHAKA: A 16-year old girl committed suicide at Agargaon area in city on Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Salma Akhter, daughter of one Siddique Hawlader, resident of West Agargaon area.

Sub-Inspector of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Thana Rafiqul Islam told banglanews that they have recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for an autopsy.

Reason of suicide is still unknown, he added.
