FROM KATHMANDU: Kathmandu police has taken all kinds of preventive measures against the traffic law violators on the eve of 18th SAARC Summit.
They also have been using a machine ‘breed analyzer’ for checking whether the drivers of private cars are drunk.
The security measures have been beefed up in the capital to make it safe for the foreign delegates for the upcoming summit.
A large number of police check posts have been set up at important intersections of the city. Kathmandu Metropolitan Police official DR Pordel told Banglanews that they would not give any concession for security.
Despite their business with SAARC duty, the Nepal police personnel do not ignore the securities of the tourists.
Kathmandu is now beaming with the tourists. One police official termed the tourists as their guests.
He further said actually we give much time for them expecting that the summit would open the door for future potentialities of tourist market.
