JESSORE: Two persons succumbed to their injuries in two separate road accidents in Jessore on Saturday.

The victims, Rais Uddin (75) and Abdul Majid (55), died at Jessore General Hospital in the noon.

Earlier in the day, Rais Uddin, a resident of Dharmatala of Jessore Town, was injured critically as a motorbike hit his bicycle while he was crossing the road at the town’s Kadamtala area.

After admitting to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

Moreover, Abdul Majid, son of Abdul Wazed, was injured as a truck hit him. He got admitted to the hospital and died later.

Jessore 2500-bed Hospital’s surgery department physician Moniruzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
