DHAKA: Police recovered a body of a teenage girl from a house in Mohammadpur area of the city on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Khadija, 17.

Police sources said that the reason behind her death could not be known immediately.

However, law enforcers held her ‘husband’ in this connection.

Her body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Mohammadpur Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Bulbul Ahmed confirmed the matter to banglanews.
