DHAKA: A young girl died after falling from a high-rise building in city’s Azimpur area on Monday evening.
The deceased was identified as Najat Faija Swagata, 18, daughter of Nazibul Haque, hailed from city’s Dholaikhal area.
Sources told banglanews that Swagata, a student of Dhaka City College, was injured severely after falling from the 4th floor a high-rise building at Azimpur China Lane. She went to visit her friend there.
Later, she was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where on-duty doctors declared her dead.
DMCH police camp in-charge Mozammel Haque said that Swagata died around 6:30pm.
