SAVAR: At least 60 people were injured in separate road accidents in Savar upazila and Ashulia on Tuesday night.

In Savar, a speedy bus hit another bus which was standing in front of Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Dhaka-Aricha highway at night, leaving at least 40 people including JU student injured.

Of the injured, five are in critical condition, witnesses said.

Another accident happened in Sreepur bus stand on Nabinagar-Chandra road, leaving 20 people injured.
