3 varsities’ students can’t be lawyer!

DHAKA: Students of three private universities cannot be lawyer as Bangladesh Bar Council suspended giving registrations to them as cases are under trial against them.

The universities are Darul Ihsan University, America Bangladesh University and IBAIS University.

Vice-Chairman of the Bar Council Khandaker Mahbub Hossain made the disclosure in press conference at the Bar Council Bhaban in the city on Thursday.

Students of another university, Atish Dipankar University, are also restricted from the registration of the council.

According to the rules, the students have to register at Bar Council to be lawyer after completing LLB.

Members of the council Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Advocate Sanaullah Mia and Golam Mostafa Khan were among others present ate press meet.
