DHAKA: An unidentified youth was killed and minor boy was electrocuted at separate places of the city Sunday.

The minor boy was identified as Momin, 12, who worked as a hotel boy.

At Kallyanpur, a passenger bus ran over the youth in front of BRTC bus depot around 7:00am, killing him on spot.

Mirpur Model Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Moktaruzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy, said the SI.

At Mazar Road, a hotel boy was electrocuted at Razib Hotel while he was asleep with others in a staff room.

He was rushed to DMCH where on-duty doctor declared around 3:30am.

Hospital police outpost In-Charge Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The body had been kept at the morgue for autopsy.
