COX’S BAZAR: Police detained 13 people including 10 Myanmar citizens from a school in Samitipara area of the town on Sunday while they were conducting a secret meeting.
Cox’s Bazar Sadar Thana Officer-in-charge (OC) Mahfujur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
He said the law enforcers detained them from a school run by a private development organization called Mukti around 5:30pm.
Three Bangladeshi nationals include Iqbal of Chakaria, M Taher of Chittagong, Mukti’s accountant Alok Kanti Sharma.
However, police did not reveal the identities of the detained Myanmar nationals for the sake of investment.
