CHITTAGONG: Three persons were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Sarkar haat area under Anwara upazila on Monday morning.

Two of the deceased were identified as Gias Uddin, 35 and Shafiullah, 30, residents of Bashkhali upazila.

Confirming the matter to banglanes, Officer-in-Charge of Anwara Thana Abdul Latif said, “A passenger bus rammed an auto-rickshaw in the area, leaving six injured.”

The injured were sent to Anwara Health Complex initially and later shifted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where three to them succumbed to injuries, he added.
