NARAYANGANJ: A district court Tuesday placed three RAB (Rapid Action Battalion) personnel on 7-day remand in sensational 7-muder case.

Senior Judicial Magistrate Monwara Begum granted the remand when police produced them before the court with 10-day remand plea in the morning.

Investigation officer of the murder case DB Officer-in-Charge Mamunur Rashid Mondol told banglanews that Rab-11 ASI Balur Rahman, driver Habilder Nasiruddin and ASI Abul Kalam Azad was arrested on Monday night.

Till now a total of 27 people have been detained over the 7-murder case, he added.

On April 27, Councilor Nazrul Islam and advocate Chandan Kumar Saha among seven were abducted and on April 30, their bodies found floating on Shitalokkhya river.
