Daud Merchant nabbed again

DHAKA: Daud Merchant, one of the aides of India’s top terrorist Dawood Ibrahim, has been nabbed again in city.

Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) of police detained Daud early Wednesday, two days after his release from prison on bail.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) deputy-police commissioner (media) Masudur Rahman said that Daud was detained at 5:00am in a drive in city’s Khilgaon area.

Earlier on December 1, Daud was released from Kashimpur jail on bail. He was later nabbed again.

Police confirmed the matter Wednesday noon.
