RAJSHAHI: Three girls of Rajshahi College were killed and 20 others injured in head on collision between two buses in front Katakhali Jute Mill in the city at 1:15pm Sunday.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police and witnesses said a bus of Rajshahi College collided head on with another passenger bus in the area, leaving 30 people from both buses injured.

They were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where three of them succumbed to their injuries.

Director of the hospital Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Rajshahi College principal Habibur Rahman rushed to the hospital soon after the accident.
