DHAKA: Eminent film director and producer Chashi Nazrul Islam has been admitted to Labaid Hospital early Monday after he complained of severe stomach ache.

Sources said the veteran film director has been taken to the hospital around 1:00am as he suddenly fell sick for abdominal pain.

Professor Dr Sayed Akram of Labaid Hospital said to banglanews that he has been suffering from chronic disease for long time.

Some tests have been completed. Chashi Nazrul Islam, however, is now out of danger, said the personal physician of the film director. 

BNP chairperson’s adviser Dr AZM Zahid Hossain accompanying with Nazrul and urged to pray for the recovery of him.
