DHAKA: A motorcyclist was killed and another one injured in a road accident in Mughda area of the city Monday noon.

The deceased was identified as Arafat Islam Mahin, 23, son of Mir Ashraful Islam and resident of Kamlapur.

Injured Abu Taleb said that Mahin was riding the motorbike. At one stage, he lost control as a rickshaw suddenly came in front of him in the area around 2:00pm, leaving them injured critically.

However, they were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where Mahin succumbed to his injuries around 2:50pm.
