India returns 4 Bangladeshi women

BENAPOLE (JESSORE): Petrapole Immigration Police of India on Monday sent back four Bangladeshi female children through Benapole Checkpost Immigration Police after one year of their trafficking in India.

The returnees are Laboni, 16, Subarna, 15, Amena, 17 and Mabia, 17, hailed from Narail and Satkhira.

Ommigation police sources told banglanews that the four were trafficked to to India with the temptation of providing good work.

Later, Indian police detained them while roaming around aimlessly at Sealdah Station in West Bengal of India and sent them to court.

Later, a voluntary organisation helped releasing them and mediated in returning them to Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Mohila Ainjibi Samity leaders will help the returnees to reach their homes, reports banglanews correspondent.

Officer-in-Charge of Benapole Immigation Police Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
