HABIGANJ: A collision between two trucks left two dead on the spot in Sutang area of Habiganj Sadar on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Abu Bakar, 42, driver of a damaged truck and another truck’s helper Rakib Hasan Rony, 18.

Sources told banglanews that the incident took place around 4:00am on Dhaka-Sylhet highway.

A Dhaka-bound truck, started from Sylhet, collided with another truck which was parked there due to dense fog, sources added. The accident left the duo dead on the spot.

Confirming the matter, Shayestaganj Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Yasinul Haque said that on information, police sent the bodies to Habiganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
