DHAKA: The government is going to appoint some 16,000 assistant teachers for primary schools of the country.

A circular titled ‘Primary Assistant Teacher Recruitment Circular-2014’ was published on Wednesday.

Applications are sought from all districts in the country except Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachhari, for the post ‘Assistant Teacher’ under the 3rd Primary Education Development Program (PEDP-3) of Department of Primary and Mass Education.

Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Rabindranath Roy said that the applicants can apply from December 13 to January 12.

The application fee is fixed as Tk 166.50. The applicants have to log in to the, http://dpe.teletalk.com.bd and www.dpe.gov.bd.
