124 SIs promoted to Inspector

DHAKA: A total of 124 Sub-Inspector (SI) of Bangladesh Police has been promoted to Inspector, said a press release of Police Headquarters on Thursday night.

Police Headquarters’ additional inspector general of police (AIG) told banglanews that of the 124 SIs, 106 were given promotion unarmed while 18 are promoted armed.

They were asked to join the respective workplaces, he added.
