GAIBANDHA: Two motorcyclists were killed crashing with Bamandanga rail gate in Sudarganj upazila on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Ferdous Miah, 22, son of Muzibul Haque and Khorshed Alam, 20, son of Aminul Haque of Chowdhurani village in Pirgachha upazila of Rangpur district.

Sub-inspector Abdul Karim of Bamandanga police outpost In-Charge confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Bamandanga Union Parishad (UP) chairman Abdul Matin Sarkar told banglanews that the accident tool place when the driver of the motorcycle, carrying three youths, lost control over brake while crossing a speed-breaker in the area around 4:00pm, leaving Ferdous dead on the spot and two others injured.

The injured were whisked off to the Rangpur Medical College and Hospital while Khorshed succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
