60 detained in Sylhet

SYLHET: Police detained some 60 people in several drives conducted in past 24 hours across the district.

Sylhet additional police super (ASP) Sugyan Chakma told the media in a press note on Saturday.

According to the note, 60 persons were arrested in drives conducted from Friday morning to Saturday morning in different parts of the district.

The arrestees include accused, wanted and convicts, the note added.
