MYNENSINGH: Unidentified assailants killed four members of a family by stabbing and strangulating them at their house at Lobonkota village in Bhaluka upazila early Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Rafikul Islam Bacchu, 40, general secretary of Habirbari union unit Shramik Dal,  his wife Shefali Akter, 28 and two daughters Jinia, 6, Husna, 2.

Quoting locals, Bhaluka Model thana police said Bacchu and her wife were chopped to death while their two daughters were strangulated to death by assailants. 

Bhaluka Model thana officer-in-charge Abdul Kader told banglanews that on information, the bodies were recovered from the spot in the morning.
