BRAHMANBARIA: At least 50 people were injured and 10 houses were burnt during sporadic clashes between two groups in Kalikochchho area under Sorail upazila Sunday.

Police said a scuffle took place between van driver Babu and motorcyclist Parvez over parking their vehicles in a local market on Saturday night.

Later hundreds of villagers locked into sporadic clashes from Sunday morning over same matter, leaving over 50 injured.

Twenty of the injured were admitted to B’baria Sadar Hospital.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Officer-in-Charge of Sarail Thana Ali Arshad said, police rushed to the spot and had been trying to take the situation under control.
