CHITTAGONG: Couple of flights was affected at Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport as dense fog disrupted operations since Saturday morning.

A flight coming from Abu Dhabi, was scheduled to land 8:45am, could not land due to the poor visibility caused by a thick fog, an airport source said.

Flight schedule was belated due to the disruption. Departure of two domestic flights could not take off from the airport.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Wing commander and also manager of Civil Aviation Department Nur–e-Alam said the thick blanket of fog did not halt flight operation completely but create disruption.
