DHAKA, SAVAR: Two passengers were killed and 20 others injured in a road accident in Moragang area of Ashulia, outskirts of the city, on Monday.

One of the deceased was identified as Sohel, hailed from Barisal.

Sources said a Abdullapur-bound bus of Classical transport coming from Baipal area collided with a Nabinagar bound human hauler, locally known as Leguna, in the area around 8:30am, killing two passengers and injuring scores.

The injured were whisked off to the local clinics. Officer-in-charge Badrul Alam of Ashulia thana confirmed the matter.

Later, police recovered the bodies and were taken to the police station.

However, a case would be filed in this connection.
