DHAKA: After one-hour effort, fire fighting team doused the fire at a packaging factory, Five Star Interlining, in Borobari area of Gazipur on Monday noon.

On in formation, four fire fighting units of Gazipur and Tongi rushed to the spot and brought the flame with the help of local people.

Deputy assistant director (DAD) of Gazipur Fire Service Aktaruzzaman Liton confirmed the matter to banglanews.

However, the cause of the fire and the losses could not be known.

Earlier, the fire broke out at the factory around 11:45am.
