DHAKA: Immediate after the collision between a train and a freight lorry at Kamalapur Railway Station, Railway Minister Mujibul Haque termed the accident only accident.

“The accident is accident,” he said while talking to journalist at the spot immediate after the accident.

He, however, also expressed sympathy for the families of the victims.

Earlier, at least three people were killed and at least 12 injured as freight lorry hit a train near Kamalapur Railway Station at 1:00pm.

The railway minister, soon after the accident, visited the spot and monitored the rescue operation.

The minister asked the authorities concerned to take immediate steps to avoid such accidents furthermore.
