CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered 25 live handmade bombs in East Chunakhali area under Sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.

Locals and RAB sources said, acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-5 raided a garden in the area around 7:00am and recovered the bombs, lying abandoned there.

RAB-5 Chapainawabganj camp commander major Kamaruzzaman Pavel confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The bombs were amassed to carry destructive activities, said the commander.

None was detained in this connection.
