Fire guts 20 shops in city

DHAKA: A devastating fire gutted 20 shops at a kitchen market at capital’s Natun Bazar area on Sunday morning.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, duty officer of fire service control room Ataur Rahman said the fire originated at 6:22am and six fire fighting units rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

The reason of the fire and amount of damages yet to be known, he added.
