DHAKA: Dr. Mujibur Rahman Bhuiyan, head of Gastroenterology Department at the city’s Apollo Hospital, examined the health of  BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Tuesday night.

After conducting an hour-long check-up, he told nothing to the media on health condition of the BNP chief.

Earlier, Mujiur entered into the Khaleda’ political office at Gulshan in the city around 9:30pm to run medical check-ups on Khaleda’s health and went out of the office around 10:30pm.

When reporters approached Mujibir for comment, Gulshan Officer-In-Charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam barred them, clearing way  for the physician to leave the scene.

Asked on Kahleda’s health, Mujibir said ‘no comment’ adding her (Khaleda) press secretary will inform details.

Earlier on the day, Khaleda’s press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan Sohel said the BNP chief fell sick, vomiting twice.
