JPYPURHAT: The rail communication on Rajshahi-Dhaka route has been suspended as miscreants removed several fishplates from the railway tracks early Thursday, during third-day of countrywide blockade.

Being informed, other stations were informed about the removal of fishplates of 35-feet rail line.

Joypurhat Police Super Biman Chandra Karmaker confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Thursday, on the third-day of the BNP-called countrywide blockade, railway services on Dhaka-Sylhet-Chittagong, Dhaka-Rajshahi route are facing a set back due to the violence flared up allegedly by blockaders.
