DHAKA: State minister for home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Friday categorically said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would give compensation to the vehicle owners whose transport will be damaged for plying during the blockade.

The state minister came up with the assertion after the meeting with transport owners in city’s Gabtoli area in the afternoon.

Kamal said all types of vehicles including bus and trucks must be plied during the blockade so that the vehicular movement remains normal.

The premier asked me to convey the message to the transport owners and workers, he added.
