DHAKA: A rickshaw-puller sustained burn injuries as blockaders hurled a patrol bomb on a passenger bus in capital’s Farmgate area on Saturday morning, the fifth day of nationwide blockade enforced by BNP
The injured--Amol Barmon, 45,-- was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Amol told banglanews that he hailed from Panchagarh and resided in Signboard area of Narayanganj. He along with five other fellow rickshaw-pullers went to Gabtoli to leave Dhaka for village home.
When the bus carrying them reached in front of Tejgaon Mohila College around 7:30am, some miscreants, riding on a bike, hurled petrol bomb, leaving him injured.
Amol received 12 percent burn injuries to his body, said on-duty doctor.
Tejgaon thana SI Khorshed Alam along with Amol’s fellows rushed him to the hospital.
