RAJSHAHI: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel recovered 32 cocktails and 10 sharp local weapons from Kharkhari bypass area of Rajshahi metropolitan city on early Tuesday.

RAB-5 senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mirza Golam Sarwar confirmed the matter to banglanews around 10:30am.

RAB sources said that the blockaders tried to create anarchy in the area. On information, the law enforcers rushed to the spot and recovered the cocktails and sharp weapons.

However, RAB personnel could not nab anyone as they fled the scene sensing the presence of the law enforcers.

Necessary legal actions will be taken in this regard, the ASP added.
