Dhaka: A constable of Special Branch was killed in a road accident in the city’s Bangla Motor area under Ramna thana Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as constable Kamruzzaman Mizan, 35, hailed from Goradia village in Sadar upazila of Chuadanga district.

Operation Officer of Ramna thana Bashirul Haque told banglanews24.com.bd that Kamruzzaman was crushed under the wheels of a bus at Bangla Motor intersection at about 9.30am while crossing the road.

Local people rescued him and admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he died at about 10.30am.
