DHAKA: From now on, no visitor will be allowed to enter the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Sources said the airport authorities have taken and circulated the decision on Tuesday.
The restriction, however, has been imposed along with the deployment of additional forces in a bid to beef up security in the area, sources added.
Describing the matter, airport related sources said that the decision has been taken following recent political unrest and violence of the country.
The Shahjalal authorities have imposed the rule of restriction on entrance or access for any visitor to ensure the security of incoming and outgoing passengers, they added.
On the other hand, according to the rule which will continue till further notice, well-wishers of passenger will no more allowed to enter the airport to see off or receive anyone.
