DHAKA: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members have been given order to prevent any kind of subversive act, said BGB chief Major General Aziz Ahmed.

“BGB will be more strict to ensure security of the lives and assets of countrymen,” he added.

He was addressing a press conference at Pilkhana Thursday.

Major General Aziz Ahmed said, “BGB does not want to kill people, they are not given order to do so. But BGB determined to prevent any attack to avert killings.”

Mentioning more BGB members to be deployed on streets, he also said BGB will work here until people regain their ‘sense of security’.
