DHAKA: A girl student of East West University (EWU) was killed in a road accident at capital’s Badda on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Jannatul Ferdous Mou, 20, student of Genetics Engineering.

His classmate Syed Sajjadul Rahman said, “We were returning from Bashundhara on rickshaw. A vehicle knocked the rickshaw when it reached at Badda and at that time a covered van rammed Mou, leaving her critically injured.”

She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctor declared her dead at 9:20pm, he added.

Officer-in-Charge of Badda Thana Abdul Majid confirmed the matter to banglanews.
