‘Action after watching video footage’

DHAKA: State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Saturday said that tougher actions will be taken against the criminals after watching video footage of crime scenes.

Moreover, he asked the politicians to restrain from violence, created in the name of political movements.

The state minister came up with the assertion while speaking at an inaugural ceremony of a school in city’s Farmgate area Saturday noon.

Mentioning the recent incidents of torching passenger buses and attack on Reaz Rahman, an adviser to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, he said that criminals will be identified and brought under justice after watching the video footage.

He commented that if people are not involved in the movement, it cannot be successful by blasting bombs.

Moreover, he called the opposition to leave paths of anarchy in the name of hartal, blockade.

Abdul Halim Foundation chairman Dr Abdul Halim and Tejgaon College principal Abdur Rashad, among others, spoke at the function chaired by Ideal International School principal Lt Col (Retd) Mohammad Qamruzzaman.
